Block Series - Modern Style - Block 11

Okay, so there aren't any groundbreaking ideas here, but holy was this fun to quilt! I love making medallions.  This was such a relief after last week's blunder.  I got a good rest and came back fresh.  I regularly walk away from my machine and sleep on a design or idea.  I came back and breezed through this block, going 'back to basics'.

I stayed pretty true to the original concept this time. 

This block really could have been as complicated or as simple as I wanted it to be, having such a large open block.  I decided to keep to modern traditionalism and stay true to the shape of this block. 

This block just makes me happy, next week will be the final block! Whoo hoo! Here are some FAQs

The machine is an older Handi Quilter Avante with a stitch regulator.

I am using Glide Thread in the colour white. 

The marking pen I use is a Kering blue water-soluble marker (any blue one will do). 

I used my Rocket Ruler by Silly Moon Quilt Co. and #12 Curve from the Quilted Pineapple
